About Team 295

The South Placer County Robotics Team is comprised of the following schools: Del Oro, Granite Bay, Lincoln, Oakmont, and Whitney High Schools. We are devoted to the success of our robot. Each student puts in approximately 250 hours in the 6 week period we are given for the construction of our robot.

First, For Inspiration and Recognitionof Science and Technology, is all about creating "a world where science and technology are celebrated... where young people dream of becoming science and technology heroes". This organization is all about transforming our world from one that celebrates good looks to one where teenagers have to use science and technology to figure problems and to get them interested in it a lot earlier in life.
